Just having some fun with YouTube. Here are two quick videos. In the first Jasmin saying some short Bahá'í prayers in Portuguese and Arabic and in the second she is showing off the new dress she will wear for her birthday party.
EDIT: New Jasmin photos added to flickr! (Check the lefthand column.)

Photos From My Neighborhood @ SkyScraperCity
Another set of photos is now available on the discussion forum SkyScraperCity. This forum is one of the best resources available for urban photography and discussions of current and future building projects around the entire world. It's a fascinating mixture of art and engineering and it has subforums for literally every country and region. Recently, I ran across a thread with photos from Bhutan. Yes, Bhutan! Most of the time I spend there is in the Brazilian forums, because there is just too much information and too many people contributing to even try keep track of everything. But it is always possible to browse through a country of interest and find all kinds of odd and intriguing urban environments.
Anyway, beyond plugging the site, I wanted to share the link for a thread I created, showing photos from my neighborhood (Boa Vista) in Recife. I did my best to capture a feel of the architectural conglomeration of the area, which is very eclectic, with centuries-old buildings and houses in the Portuguese colonial style, modern box-like monstrosities from the 1950s, and stylish glass-and-granite beauties, along with a variety of small parks, churches, hospitals, mansions, fountains, and lots and lots of trees. I apologize in advance because the captions are in Portuguese, but I think most things are easy to figure out -- any doubts, and you can ask about them here! Click here for the link and enjoy!
UPDATE: Flickr badge with the same photos is available in the left margin (above Jasmin's photos), and the captions (such as they are) are in English.
